High Wycombe, UK, 19 October 2017 – International POS printer manufacturer Star Micronics is pleased to announce that it will be joining Floral Frog Limited at FleurEx 2017 (21 – 22 October 2017, Hilton Metropole, Birmingham NEC). Floral Frog will be demonstrating its intuitive software for florists alongside Star’s combined Bluetooth printer and cash drawer tablet POS solution mPOP™.

Floral Frog offers an affordable, all-in-one florist management software package with an integrated payment solution. The software automates all the daily business tasks and processes seen in a busy florist from point-of-sale (POS), order processing, card payments, automated delivery routing, accounting and much more. FrogPOS is the simple to use integrated payment solution and an iPad based EPOS system designed specifically for florists.

To complement its software package and payment solution, Floral Frog has selected the cost-effective all-in-one tablet POS system mPOP from Star Micronics. As a unique combined Bluetooth printer and cash drawer mobile point of purchase station, mPOP is compact and lightweight at just 10cm high and 30cm wide with a sleek design that complements the counter top. Alternatively, mPOP with front feed receipting can easily be secured under the counter for enhanced space-saving. With intuitive top loading and easy front feed, the thermal printer automatically cuts the 58mm wide receipt. Outstanding connectivity alongside intuitive functionality and simple integration define Star’s unique solution.

With the POPPack option that includes a high quality black or white tablet stand (alternative colours are available if required) and metal plate, users can successfully create a stylish mPOS station. The POPPack design provides a flexible option with the extra security required within a busy retail environment, whilst retaining the mobile element. This provides the ability to securely store or transport the mPOS station at the end of trading.

One satisfied customer using Floral Frog software and Star’s mPOP is 800Flower, a florist with 2 stores located in Dubai Marina and The Palm Jumeirah. As Bilal Hamdan, co-founder of 800Flower, comments: “Floral Frog has been a great decision for our business as its cloud based system allows our accounts and operations divisions to stay in synch without the need for sending daily reports and countless emails. Our team can spend more time on business development and less time on encoding and updating reports.”

Another satisfied customer, Elliza Wade Florist from Hayes in Kent, comments: “Floral Frog is having a positive impact on our business and was instantly noticeable. We no longer need our old cash register, no more paperwork, or the need to write orders down. The new EPOS system and mPOP is great. Payments are instantly processed and recorded in the Accounts module, saving me a lot of time. All the orders are automatically organised making deliveries easy and quick. This is so important around Christmas, Valentines and Mother’s Day. It’s simply a fantastic product at an amazing price.”

Wayne Goulden, Technical Director, Floral Frog Limited, adds: “Working with Star Micronics affords Floral Frog the expertise of a leading POS printer manufacturer. The mPOP ideally complements our software package and provides florists with a compact tablet POS solution that is not only stylish in design but also easy to use and feature-rich.”
