mC-Connect Drawer

The mC-Connect™ Drawer is the latest addition to the Star Micronics mCollection range, designed to bring greater flexibility to modern retail and hospitality environments.

As mPOS systems and portable payment solutions continue to grow, businesses need hardware that can adapt to different store layouts, workflows, and ways of working. The mC-Connect™ Drawer has been developed to meet those changing demands while continuing to support traditional cash handling.

Featuring four integrated connection options:  Wireless LAN, Bluetooth® LE, USB, and Ethernet, the mC-Connect™ Drawer allows businesses to connect cash drawers to a wide range of POS systems, tablets, and portable payment terminals using the communication method that works best for their setup.

Its compact, modern design allows for clean installation in almost any environment, while built-in magnets enable secure mounting directly onto compatible cash drawers.

The mC-Connect™ Drawer supports four communication methods in a single device: Wireless LAN, Bluetooth® LE, USB, and Ethernet, making it easy to connect to a wide range of POS terminals and store setups. By combining multiple interfaces into one solution, businesses can reduce hardware costs and avoid purchasing separate cash drawers for different connection types.

Designed for simple integration, the mC-Connect™ Drawer works with conventional cash drawers using standard RJ-12 modular cables. It also remains compatible with existing Star software solutions, helping businesses upgrade their setup without replacing current hardware.

With two integrated cash drawer ports, the mC-Connect™ Drawer can control two cash drawers simultaneously. Each drawer can be operated independently, with separate open/close status monitoring, providing greater flexibility for busy retail and hospitality environments.

Using the Star Quick Setup Utility™ app for iOS and Android™, wireless LAN setup can be completed quickly and easily by simply following the on-screen instructions on a mobile device, making in-store installation simple for any user.
