Star Micronics’ rapidSYNC technology is designed to simplify Star Wi-Fi printer setup. Designed for quick deployment of Star WiFi receipt and label printers, rapidSYNC guides users through a seamless configuration process and provides instant, automated connection verification.

Seamless multi-printer deployment
Scaling your set-up is just as simple. After configuring the first printer via rapidSYNC, the Star Quick Setup Utility can be used to deploy Wi-Fi settings across all additional printers, saving installation time.
Traditional Wi-Fi printer set-up can require users to connect to a temporary printer network, open a configuration page, and move back and forth between network settings. Star’s rapidSYNC replaces that process with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and the Star Quick Setup Utility. Users select the printer, enter the Wi-Fi credentials on a smartphone or tablet, and transfer those settings directly to the printer in a much simpler process.
rapidSYNC technology simplifies WiFi printer set-up for new printer installations, when moving existing printers to new locations, connecting printers after replacing a router, configuring multiple printers during a rollout, installing a printer where Ethernet cabling is unavailable, reconnecting a printer where network settings have been reset.
Star’s rapidSYNC WiFi set-up is available on select Star receipt and label printers including:

TSP143IV SK X4 WiFi linerless label printers
mC-Label2 X4 multifunction label printers
Minimise complicated and time consuming set-up procedures in multi-store or multi-printer deployments. Once one rapidSYNC connection is complete, the Star Quick Setup Utility enables a quicker and simpler configuration of additional printers.
After a successful set-up, Star printers automatically produce a wireless network printout showing successful connection. Installers can confirm the printer is on the network before moving on the POS configuration, testing or deployment.
