Miap is a free mobile application that allows customers to access a digital menu by simply scanning the QR code on the table. The menu is provided in multiple languages with detailed information on each dish including photos, ingredients, calories, preparation time as well as comments from previous customers.
The customer can include a comment to the waiter (how they would like their food cooked, ingredients removed from a dish etc.) before ordering directly via the Miap application and requesting any further details. The beauty of this app is that waiters are able to devote more time to advising customers during ordering without worrying about errors and omissions. Once drinks and/or dishes have been chosen, customers can order and pay in 30 seconds via their smartphone and, once validated, the waiter will bring the order to the table. The application also integrates a digitized loyalty card which rewards the customer each time they order with Miap and leave a comment on their experience.
Digital menus allow restaurants to instantly modify their menu online in response to customer comments while optimizing costs and processes.
