Star CloudPRNT

Star’s CloudPRNT technology is available across Star’s thermal receipt, ticket and label printers and matrix kitchen printers providing the largest range of multi-platform remote cloud receipt printers and on-line order printers available today. By offering online purchasing options, retail stores and restaurants are able to grow their business to expand to a larger market. Star CloudPRNT allows merchants to seamlessly integrate online purchasing into their stores.

How does it work?

CloudPRNT works with the online ordering service to store and create print jobs and communicate status with the printer. Cloud ordering services post orders using a JSON format while the Star CloudPRNT printer will pull these orders on a defined interval.

How can Star CloudPRNT benefit merchants?

Star’s CloudPRNT technology provides benefits to both restaurant and retail stores by eliminating the need for an extra tablet to send an online order to the printer. Instead, the ordering service will be able to communicate directly to the printer. Store owners or service providers do not need to maintain an SSL certificate for CloudPRNT printers since the printer communicates with the server as a client.

StarPrinter.Online

For customers who prefer a managed service, Star has introduced StarPrinter.online, a dedicated service for retailers and restaurant owners to manage their printer estate. With minimal set-up time and cost with near zero integration, customers can send an html file to the StarPrinter.Online email in order to print instead. StarPrinter.Online offers reliable tracking of print jobs with webhook based notification of device status changes, print job results, barcode scans, new device connections to a group, etc.

TSP100IV

Star’s TSP143IV dual interface Ethernet LAN and USB-C / USB-A receipt printer includes Star CloudPRNT as standard.

mC-Print Series

Star’s compact mC-Print2 and mC-Print3 printers are Cloud ready with Star CloudPRNT technology included as standard. Additional USB ports allow Cloud based peripheral control of customer displays, a range of barcode scanners and other USB peripherals

HI X Connect Printers

Star’s TSP650II, TSP700II, TSP800II and SP700 series printers can be upgraded with a HI X Connect interface which offers dual USB / LAN interface plus WiFi using a locally sourced dongle. Star’s WebPRNT and CloudPRNT technologies are also included plus 2 additional USB host ports for control of scanners, displays and other peripherals.
