mC-Connect™ Drawer

mC-Connect™ Drawer is the latest addition to the Star Micronics mCollection range, designed to bring greater flexibility to modern retail and hospitality environments.

As mPOS and mobile payment continues to evolve, businesses need hardware that can adapt to efficient store layouts and workflows. The mC-Connect™ Drawer has been developed to meet changing demands while continuing to support traditional cash handling.

Featuring multiple connectivity in one compact controller; Wireless LAN, Bluetooth Low Energy, USB-C, and Ethernet, the mC-Connect™ Drawer allows businesses to control up to four standard RJ12 cash drawers directly from tablets and mobile devices without a fixed POS printer.

With WLAN, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), USB-C, and Ethernet in one device and compatibility with standard RJ12 drawers, retailers can reduce hardware costs, helping standardize hardware and streamline rollouts.

Designed for simple integration, the mC-Connect™ Drawer works with conventional cash drawers using standard RJ-12 modular cables. It also remains compatible with existing Star software solutions, helping businesses upgrade their setup without replacing current hardware.

With two integrated cash drawer ports, the mC-Connect™ Drawer can control up to four cash drawers simultaneously. Each drawer can be operated independently, with separate open/close status monitoring, providing greater flexibility for busy retail and hospitality environments.

Built-in magnets allow for clean, secure mounting directly onto standard cash drawers, helping create a tidy and professional POS setup.

Built for Modern Retail

The mC-Connect™ Drawer helps businesses simplify their POS hardware setup while supporting both traditional cash transactions and modern mPOS environments, all with the reliability expected from Star Micronics. Multiple mPOS devices can connect to a single cash drawer if required and can be set to only be open the drawer within a specified range.

 

Reliable, Secure Control

With real-time status monitoring, mC-Connect Drawer controllers can independently report status for each drawer enabling retailers to monitor drawer disconnection, open / close for loss prevention. Status reports can be integrated with existing software and network / CCTV systems if required.
