SaveCo introduces PickingPro

The company developed PickingPro, an end-to-end picking and delivery solution designed to manage the entire fulfilment journey.  As an in-house Android-based picking app with a supporting desktop dashboard, SaveCo benefits from a comprehensive overview of the status of each order as well as performance metrics.

PickingPro is integrated with an external scanner ProGlove which allows pickers to efficiently operate hands-free while picking items from the shelves.  Designed to support the end-to-end picking and delivery process from when an order arrives in store to delivery at the customer’s door, the app includes a detailed audit log of all picking and delivery activities complete with images of items picked alongside all items substituted and refunds issued being displayed.

Star mC-Label3 for delivery fulfilment

Seeking a printer for bag labels that provided excellent connectivity and versatility, SaveCo opted for the Star mC-Label3.  The printed labels include a unique QR code that is scanned by drivers at the loading point as well as the delivery location to ensure correct fulfilment.  With labels featuring numbered bag information and customer details, delivery mistakes are successfully kept to a minimum.

The Star mC-Label3 printer offers the optimal solution thanks to its ability to print on traditional pre-sized labels.  These can be peeled from a backing paper as well as liner-free media including low adhesive re-stick labels, alongside high adhesive permanent and semi-permanent labels.  Incredibly user friendly with paper width detection and simple drop-in loading, different media can be loaded with ease and, given its jam free operation, reliable printing is ensured.
