By offering online purchasing options, retail stores and restaurants are able to grow their business to expand to a larger market. Star CloudPRNT allows merchants to seamlessly integrate online purchasing into their stores.
How does it work?
CloudPRNT stores and creates print jobs and communicates status with the printer. Orders created through web apps and cloud based software can be directly printed in store or in a restaurant, bar or kitchen for table and home ordering without needing an additional tablet or device. CloudPRNT Next, Star’s latest advanced version of the existing CloudPRNT technology, offers more efficient, secure, and faster cloud-based printing capabilities.
CloudPRNT Next, an advanced version of Star’s existing CloudPRNT technology, offers more efficient, secure, and faster cloud-based printing capabilities. It represents a significant advancement in IoT device communication, greatly enhancing printing across various commercial environments.
Star’s CloudPRNT technology provides benefits to both restaurant and retail stores by eliminating the need for an extra tablet to send an online order to the printer. Instead, the ordering service will be able to communicate directly to the printer. Store owners or service providers do not need to maintain an SSL certificate for CloudPRNT printers since the printer communicates with the server as a client.
For customers who prefer a managed service, Star has introduced StarPrinter.online, a dedicated service for retailers and restaurant owners to manage their printer estate. With minimal set-up time and cost with near zero integration, customers can send an html file to the StarPrinter.Online email in order to print instead. StarPrinter.Online offers reliable tracking of print jobs with webhook based notification of device status changes, print job results, barcode scans, new device connections to a group, etc. For more information, please contact our integration team who will be happy to help
