Star’s Bluetooth mobile and desktop POS printers are MFi certified allowing seamless pairing and 100% compatibility with Apple devices. Not only that, Star printers also offer a unique Auto-Connect feature to automatically re-connect once the device and printer are in range or after a tablet recharge.
Lightning Connection
Star’s unique Lightning cable port on the TSP143IIIU, mC-Print2 and mC-Print3 printers provides device charging as well as direct communication between Apple iPad or iPhone and the receipt pinter via the standard Lightning cable. This simplifies the inital set-up and offers a stable connection to Apple iOS devices. Star’s unique SteadyLAN™ technology also provides network tethering for iPads and iPhones for direct internet connection via the printer without the need for WiFi.
Apple AirPrint™
Star’s TSP650II receipt printers and TSP800II multifunctional receipt, label and ticket printers can be AirPrint-enabled. Using Apple AirPrint, retailers can print without installing any printer drivers with the ability to print to Star printers from anywhere on the same network.
